Mette Baillie is an award winning Danish designer dressmaker who fell in love with Edinburgh at first sight. She launched Freja Designer Dressmaking in 1998 as a stylish and ethical alternative to the mass-produced bridal wear, evening dresses and women’s suiting available on the high street.
At this workshop we will:
- determine how much garments need shortened by
- learn how to hem sleeves, skirts and trousers in woven fabrics
- learn how to hem sleeves, skirts and trousers in jersey fabrics
- learn how to shorten jeans, where we add the washed edge back on
